Buoyancy Compensating Device
You're floating in the water. You rock back and forth peacefully with the swells, preparing for a head first dive into the deep blue. The world the diver lives in is constantly changing. It is quite literally a fluid environment that calls for constant adaptation. The buoyancy compensator (BCD) is the platform of the SCUBA diving system that provides this flexibility and its importance should not be overlooked.

A well-designed BC provides stability and facilitates precise changes in underwater body position, allowing you to effortlessly see the world around you. The success of BCDs lies in the details. All conform securely to the diver's body to minimize drag and provide a comfortable, nonrestrictive fit around the shoulders and waist.
