Nitrox Class

Breathing enriched air gives a larger margin of safety than diving with compressed air. Since there is less nitrogen than "regular" air, the bottom time may be longer with less risk of decompression sickness. Atlantic Scuba is a certified dealer of Nitrox Air.

The fee for Nitrox is $100.00 this includes 2 tanks of Nitrox and the PADI Certification.

You must complete the academics
You must complete two (2) open water dives with an instructor for certification

You will need to purchase the book and tables for Nitrox

This fee does not include park entry fees or boat fees or meals.

Now you can try it while you dive it with PADI’s Dive Today philosophy and Discover Enriched Air Nitrox. Diving with enriched air lets you:

Stay underwater longer
Get back into the water sooner
Credit the experience you gain towards PADI Enriched Air Diver course

How much more time can I be underwater?
If you dive to 15 metres/50 feet on air, you can gain up to 95 additional minutes of no decompression time by diving on enriched air rather than on air.
