This fee does not include park entry
fees or boat fees or meals.
The student must provide their own mask,
snorkel, fins, and boots if fins are adjustable. Students must have
their own transport to and from dive sites.
There are 4 sections to this course.
- Is the home study part in which you
do at your own rate. There will be 5 modules that should be
completed before you come to class. There are 3 that must be
completed before you are able to start class. You will also need to
watch a video on Open Water Diving which will be provided to for you
to use.
- In the class room you will go over
all of the 5 modules and the quizzes, have a question and answer
session with your Dive Instructor, and then take a final exam.
- In the Confined Water Training you
will breath underwater for the first time and begin to learn all the
necessary skills to enjoy your time under the water.
- In the Open Water Training you will
have 4 dives. You will practice all of the necessary skills that you
learned in the confined water training, and you will start enjoying
your time under the water. As you can see from the photo one of the
students was having fun with seaweed he found under the water and
gave himself some hair.
